Practice, Practice, Practice

Jalyn, Onya, and Savanah all did a good job this week. There is lots to be done before you go to get your license. Study and practice your maneuvers WEEKLY to be good before you go to get your license. If you practice the things you learned this week you will do great.

Practice your turning (hand over hand), practice throttle and brakes, and practice "looking out for the other guy." Practice, Practice, Practice.

Study your signs.

Wow, what a wonderful week it has been. The weather behaved for the most part and eight students have a new respect for driving. Chris, Jeremy, Jasmine, and Tia all did a wonderful job and finished up on Wednesday. Tiffany, Tim, Darius, and Nick finished Saturday and will soon be on the road themselves. You all did a great job and will turn into wonderful drivers. Keep studying your signs and right of ways.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Tim this week and I hope his surgery went well and his recovery goes better than expected.

A long week

Congratulations to DJ, Greg, Jordan, Preston, Tyler, and Selene. You all did very well. This was another big step for you to becoming great drivers. I know some of you were leaving town for the holiday weekend or more and I hope you have safe travels and happy memories. Study your signs, lines and maneuvers (Reverse, HORN, Hazards). You all will do great.

As for the long week, I had a full week with 6 drivers in 4 days and as my drivers know 3 softball games on Tuesday night lasting from 7pm until the sprinklers came on at 11pm. I was a little tired and still a little sore but with such a great group of drivers I made it through. Again have a happy and safe forth weekend.
